PPG was looking for a consolidated approach to their uniforms and safety apparel. As PPG consolidated and grow through acquisition, they needed a uniform and apparel partner to help standardize and monitor the program. Arrow Uniform was also faced with a unified approach for all locations, providing a copy exact program across all coverage areas.

The challenge was to keep the program cost down through consolidation while converting the acquired company’s program to the corporate uniform standard. PPG brought another challenge to Arrow Uniform, integrating the program for both rental services and direct purchase programs with “Ariba”. As part of the standardization process, Arrow Uniform has also implemented a program to monitor all PPG logos, complying with all of their brand standards across all of our garment programs.

We consolidated the billing through their “Ariba” system, and upload and monitor all billing. Arrow Uniform also built a custom website to insure consistency across all direct purchase platforms, and integrated the website as a punchout in the Ariba catalog. The “KAM” on PPG has over 30 years experience, and quarterbacks the account management team as well as conduction all quarterly business reviews. Arrow Uniform has been effective in driving cost down year over year working with our PPG team to help find better solutions to a current program.
