Arrow Uniform’s early beginnings can be traced to two companies that merged to become the Arrow you know today. First, Arrow Overall Supply Company began operations in Detroit, Michigan in 1937. Twelve years later, entrepreneur Thomas G. Andris began a similar company, also in the Detroit market, called Clean Coverall Supply Company. Both organizations were small, building their reputations on providing honest, superior service to their customers. In 1968, Thomas G. Andris, along with his sons, Thomas R. and Robert J., purchased Arrow Overall Supply They reorganized both companies in a way that best utilized each organization’s strengths. In 1974 Thomas G. Andris passed away, and since then Arrow Uniform has been under the guidance of Thomas R. Andris as CEO/President and Robert J. Andris as Executive Vice President.

After more than 60 years, Arrow is still a family-owned business. We remain true to our fundamental principles of honesty, trust, and integrity. Today, we operate 14 locations throughout the Midwest, with 1,000 employees successfully servicing over 15,000 customers. In 1995 Arrow began the process of modernizing its three laundry facilities and central stockroom into new state-of-the-art operations. This investment is Arrow’s commitment to the future – benefiting both our customers and employees for many years to come.
